Each year, the academy organizes several concerts and music festivals, ranging from solo performances to chamber music ensembles and symphonies. These events, along with masterclasses and music camps, provide students with enriching musical experiences and learning opportunities, fostering a deeper understanding of music, the world, and themselves.
Primo Music Pedagogy was developed by Professor Singing Tsai and Bonnie Lee, drawing inspiration from the teachings of renowned musicians like Mimi Zweig, Paul Rolland, Josef Gingold, Janos Starker, Shinichi Suzuki, Carl Orff, and Zoltán Kodály. This comprehensive program integrates music education with Mimi Zweig's pedagogy, incorporating medicine, psychology, brain development, and Chinese philosophical thinking. Primo Music Pedagogy has been widely recognized and adopted in universities and music academies worldwide, earning numerous accolades, including Emmy Award nominations and wins in various international competitions. This methodology is officially authorized by Professor Mimi Zweig and registered as a trademark in China.
